This green cat has been wandering around Varna, a town situated by the Black Sea in Bulgaria.  After this cat was discovered, there was outrage when everyone thought someone was deliberately dying this cat green. There was even a Facebook group created to catch the perpetrators: "Punishment to the the perpetrator of this criminal act!"

Eventually, it was discovered that this cat just happens to like sleeping on a pile of synthetic green paint in an abandoned garage every night. The continued exposure has caused the cat to appear completely green. It appears this doesn't harm or bother the cat since he continues to do it and the color of his fur just stays a pretty bold shade of green. Though, without knowing more about the specific paint the cat is coming into contact with, it is hard to know how this will affect the cat in the long run. Despite that, people need to remember that you should not try to dye your pets with any known hazardous chemicals as it is dangerous for the animal.
