When this horse spotted a camel nearby, he wandered over to it. But, what he does when he gets closer is absolutely amazing.

You can tell these two majestic creatures are reunited long-lost friends. The way they interact when they see each other is enough to warm anyone's heart. We know this is a rare piece of footage, but it got us wondering about how horses actually show affection.

According to WayOfTheHorse.org, "Horses are extremely affectionate. If you get a chance to see them in the wild they are mutually grooming each other, scratching each other, leaning gently into each other, sharing breath with each other (a very intimate activity done by putting their noses together and sharing the air). These are all manifestations of affection." Armed with this new knowledge, it's easy to see why this horse responded the way he did - they are just naturally affectionate creatures.

We here at SFG can't stop replaying this amazing video, but how did you feel about it? Please share your thoughts and feelings with us in the comment section.
