Animals have very close ties to nature. As humans, we have created so many technological solutions to problems caused by nature that we are no longer connected to what's going on in our planet. Take, for example, this video. Here we see firsthand some evidence that dogs may in fact be able to predict earthquakes, whereas people take a little bit longer to recognize the phenomenon.

According to psychologytoday.com, there is a "heated debate" as to whether dogs can or cannot predict earthquakes. There have been "dozens of reports of dogs in the Alps, who warned travelers, or members of search and rescue teams, of an impending avalanche in time for them to escape." And then, there's this video. Watch it and let us know what you think.
