Ambles Trust for Elephants is a research and conservation project based in Nairobi, Kenya that focuses on the preservation of the African elephant. Using studies conducted around social organization, behavior, genetics and cognition (just to name a few), it has served as an advocate for elephants around the world.

In this clip, a five-day-old calf gets some much-needed assistance from members of the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and the ATE. It's an inspirational rescue mission.

If you would like to know more or donate to the cause of these complex and loving creatures, visit ATE's full site
