Imagine opening the door to your backyard and letting your French bulldog roam the grassy meadows. Now imagine that you see a wild buck in the distance, nearing your precious puppy. Do you immediately call your dog back inside? Are you worried about the possibility of an accident or injury? I know if I were in this situation, I'd be a little weary about letting my 30-pound dog play with a buck that could weigh over two hundred pounds. However, in the video below in which a Frenchie comes face-to-face with a deer, the resulting encounter doesn't seem very dangerous at all. In fact, the two seem to take a liking to one another as they chase each other around the yard.
Has your dog ever made an unlikely friend out in nature? Have you ever witnessed anything like this? Typically, deer are very timid and are quick to scamper off when they see other animals, so I was surprised to see one react like this in this situation.
