When these two buddies are reunited, these two do something so adorable it brought a tear to my eye. According to WebMD Pets, there are several precautionary steps you can take to ensure that your dog and cats get along. The most important thing you have to do is to monitor the dog, as it is in their nature to chase fast-moving objects, and it is the cat's natural reaction to run away. This can lead to minor or even serious injury for both the cat and the dog.

I know personally when I introduced my dog Winter to our 11 year-old-cat, she ended up with a chunk of her ear pulled out and Winter had to spend her first few nights wearing a cone. They became friends eventually, but nowhere near as close as these two.
