A family from Charleston, South Carolina was suspicious of the babysitter's abusive ways after seeing the family's dog, Killian, show unusual aggression towards the babysitter.
Alexis Khan, the 22 year old babysitter, was later found guilty after a hidden camera caught her verbally and physically hitting 7-month-old Finn Jordan. She now faces 1 to 3 years of prison in addition to being listed on a child abuse registry.
Killian saved Finn from further harm. It's clear that the two share a special bond.
The family said: "He was very aggressive towards her and a few times we actually had to physically restrain our dog from going towards her."
Luckily, the pair can now comfortably live the rest of their lives together.
