According to the American Kennel Club, Siberian Huskies are the 13th most popular dog breed. The site also describes them as loyal, mischievous, and outgoing, which makes them excellent family dogs. Because of their energetic nature and origins as sled dogs, they require plenty of exercise. However, as you can see from this video, they are capable of being mellow and gentle.
In the YouTube comments, there was some controversy over whether or not it's safe to let a dog lick a baby's face, especially around the mouth area.
